Chongqing Huapont Shengchem Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.（Huapont Shengchem）is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chongqing Huapont Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. From our API plant, Huapont shengchem has proven itself as a reliable partner for the supply of commercial API

LOCATION and SCALE

It is located in Hechuan, Chongqing. The site covers 80,000m², and has 9 state-of-the-art workshops, including 1 Retinoids dedicated workshop, 1 Oncology dedicated workshop and 1 Steroids dedicated workshop. As a subsidiary company of Industries, its history in the generic API industry dates back to 1990’s.

ORGANIZATION and PERSONNEL

There are more than 180 employees in Huapont Shengchem. It is divided into seven parts:

● Quality assurance Department

● Quality control Department

● Production Department

● Technology Department

● Equipment Department

● Logistics Department

● EHS Department

MANUFACTURING CAPACITY

Huapont Shengchem has a broad portfolio of more than 40 high quality API products. The capacity and scale of production covers from grams, kilograms and tons for the large-scale APIs.

　　Reactor size: 50L, 100L, 200L, 300L, 500L, 1000L, 2000L, 3000L

　　Temp. range: -80ºC～300ºC,

　　Pressure Range: 0.1～15Mpa

TECHNOLOGIES

● Particle size reduction

3 jet mill are installed in cleaning room of different workshops.

The minimum particle size could be less than 10μm.

● Particle size enlarging

We have successfully enlarged particle size for some of our products by recrystallization method according to the request of customers.

● Hydrogenation

A dedicated workshop is used for hydrogenation.

Our high pressure reactor sizes range from 200 L to 2,000 L and operate across a temperature range of 25 to 140ºC and a pressure range of 0 to 5MPa.

● Element impurity

ICP is installed in our QC lab. Element impurity could be studied and tested by Huapont Shengchem.

● High potent compound

Some high potent products, such as calcipotriol and paricalcitol have been manufactured by Huapont Shengchem.

EHS

Shengchem’s Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EHS-MS) is built upon Huapont’s Management Commitment and Business Continuity Plan. The purpose is to ensure compliance with internal and external global EHS requirements, guarantee the quality of the products we deliver, drive continuous improvement, and support the sustainable growth of the company.

One waste water treatment station: treated by microbiological fermentation and waste water evaporator
