Indications:
Reference Listed Drug during bioequivalence study of this medication is RIFADIN® by Sanofi.
When oral therapy cannot be tolerated, this medication is used as an alternative to oral preparations of rifampicin. Used in combination with other anti-TB drugs to treat all types of TB, including treatment-naïve, advanced, chronic and drug-resistant cases.
Other infections: This medication is used in combination with other antibiotics to treat Legionella and severe staphylococcal infections.
